Jelonet is a gauze dressing coated with Paraffin. Indicated for wounds at the debourgeonnement and epidermisation stage such as: bedsores and leg ulcers, transplant donor sites, postoperative wounds, dermabrasions. The non-adherent Jelonet compress exerts a calming action and facilitates the drainage of the wound inside the absorbent secondary dressing. Retains its shape without fraying. The Jelonet compress is a sterile fatty tulle made of a loose knitwear. Gauze is formed by intertwined threads that reduce the fraying of the dressing cut to the dimensions of the wound. Can be used in conjunction with any local non-medicated drug: the Jelonet compress can be combined with a local antiseptic or antibiotic if you choose.
