LYCLEAR 5% DERMAL CREAM 30G PH ONLY

Lyclear 5% Dermal Cream 30g 

Lyclear Dermal Cream is used for the treatment of scabies and crab lice (also known as pubic lice).

How to use this product for scabies
Adults and children aged over 12 years will need one 30g tube.  Children aged between 6 and 12 years will need half a tube while children aged from 2 months to 5 years will need quarter of a tube.

The cream should be applied to clean, dry and cool skin.  It will disappear when rubbed into the skin.  It should be applied over the whole body including the neck, palms of the hands and soles of the feet.  Pay particular attention to the wrists, elbows, armpits, external genitalia and buttocks, as well as the areas between the fingers and toes.  Females should also treat the breast area.  There is no need to apply Lyclear Dermal Cream to the head or face of adults unless scabies is present in these regions.

The cream should be left on for between 8 and 12 hours and then washed off.  One application is usually enough but it can be repeated after at least 14 days if scabies does not clear or if new scabies lesions occurs.

How to use Lyclear Dermal Cream for crab lice
One third of a tube should be enough to treat the pubic region, the peri-anal region, thighs and trunk.  Some adults may need to use up to two thirds of a tube.  Apply to the pubic and peri-anal area, the inner thighs down to the knees and any hair on the trunk which extends to the pubic area.  Facial hair should also be checked for lice or eggs.  The cream should be applied to this area if found.  Do not apply Lyclear Dermal Cream to the eyelashes or eyebrows.  Lice or eggs in these areas should be removed with a tweezers instead.

Leave the cream on for between 8 and 24 hours before washing off.  If live lice are found on a previously treated area after 7 days a repeat treatment should be carried out.

Please remember that direct contacts might also need to be treated.

Children under 18 and adults aged over 70 years should be treated under medical supervision.
